Ponds is an ongoing series of underwater photographs, film and sound recordings to explore the topography of submerged environments. Ponds is part of a larger series of works that include other groupings of underwater explorations such as Canals, Seas and Lakes, all of which will be updated at a later stage. Some of these photographs are taken by wading into waters and others by swimming. All of the photographs have a random element to them as most of the waters are dense with silt, vegetation and refuse, however decisions are made as regards lens length, depth of field and flash.
